Finally sold the shortbed '64 pickup today.
I'd been asking $6500, and had been hoping to get at least $5000. I ended up taking $4500 cash because someone finally showed up with cash in hand, instead of with lots of stupid trade offers(No I don't want you 15 year old Harley, no I didn't want your 18 year old ford ranger) or with vague promises to come by later in the week with a deposit.
Can't really complain about the final selling price as I bought it for $500 and had about $200 into towing it home, a battery, an alternator and other small stuff to get it running.
Now to just sell the '99 Saturn & '92 MR2 and we'll finally have some room in our driveway.

The ones we're keeping:
2004 xB(mine, owned for 7 years)
2004 xB(girlfriend's, bought a few months ago for $1000)
1964 Chevy C-10 longbed(rusty but reliable, going to use the money to fix this up as the longbed is more useful to me)
The ones for sale:
1999 Saturn SL(girlfriend's, she's had it since new but never uses it anymore)
1992 Toyota MR2(girlfriend's, replaced with the xB as she needed something with more carrying capacity & drivable year round)

I don't fit well in the MR2, and I love my little box too much to ever sell it.

I can see 5 ways that you are wrong, and all of them involve the xB.

aw snap, i've looked at that ad like 4 times and every time I do I'm like "ooh MR2" and then I go "aww man, its an automatic" It's not terrible, I wish I got off my manual high horse and looked at slush boxes.

So buy this one for the good unmolested shell, then find a cheap crashed/riced/rusted one and do a 5-speed & turbo swap. You'll have a drivable mr-2 while you get all the drivetrain stuff sorted.

I'm not that much of a mechanic. I'd have to bring it to a shop and that adds a whole 'nother level of money to shell out. Even if I bring it to mechanics I know, I'd have to find another good compatible MR2 for cheap enough where it would be worth it. I like it, but I'm likely not in the position to drop the money on basically 1 1/2 MR2's
